GPOYW- “Photographic proof that my boss is silly to trust me with a company vehicle” edition.  No not really.  I have had a company car for years.  I have only crashed it once.  OK wait, twice.  But it had nothing to do with the fact that I drive this way.  This is a learned behavior.  Thanks Mom.

How great is this over my bedroom door?  It used to be over my office because I would lock myself in and read but there isn’t space there in the new house.

Every single person in my life can attest to the fact that this is 100% me.
So…dear everyone- I am sorry that I am such a flaky asshole.

motionsensorsoundtrack:

Why yes kitty.  I believe you are.

I sing a stupid Matchbox 20 song.  One that I can’t think of right now because all I can hear is the never ending story…

10% through my i-pod

(with regard to my attempt to listen to every song I possess).

At this rate, I wil be done by September.  Why oh why did I decide to do something so stupid?

And I am STILL on the G-d damn Bedheads.  hfksdjf kjh

I couldn’t do it

lateniteriser:

the actual thought of moving back to Chicago was enough to turn the idea of working at a great restaurant into a really wrong scenario for me.
But in turn I have had 2 potential new job offers in the past 24 hours.
I guess it’s up to me to turn on the charm and see how it goes.
Wish me luck??

Oh boo.  I understand though.  Something else will come up.  You are a charming motherfucker so no good luck wishes are needed.  Knock em dead sweetheart.

I want to go down on you & make you happy. Then i want to come back up slowly and fuck you good and hard.

Yours Truly,

Okkervil River - “Wake and Be Fine” (Studio Version)

twentyfourbit:

We’ve heard the triumphant, slow-building non-LP cut “Mermaid,” as well as a live rendition of “Wake and Be Fine” performed on Late Night, which, as Casey aptly remarked, was a bit shouty. Now our first studio taste of Okkervil River’s 6th album, I Am Very Far, has arrived as a free MP3 of the latter tune, with vocals thankfully tempered by a bit more space to help discern — and revel in — the melody adorning Will Sheff’s consistently resonant lyrics. It’s a solid single, for sure, though I’m still surprised that “Mermaid” didn’t make the cut, as my queue auto-played the anthemic B-side following this single and the sequence paid off brilliantly. Either way, you’re going to want to grab OR’s promising new track in exchange for an email address on their site or below.
