Things that make life worth living: music, my awesome kid and dog (who both manage on a daily basis to supply me with endless hilarity to blog about), fruit snacks, cupcakes, Diet Coke, cherry sours, lists, politics, California girls, concerts, road trips, randomness, Christie, books, nerds, writing, my guitars, Brenna, art, movies, best friends, and crazy people. This has turned into a personal ad so I should state that I do not enjoy long walks on the beach or spooning and I am a sensitive asshole.
I never finish what I start. I have four incomplete novels and a half eaten cookie to prove it.
Feel free to ask me questions but don't hold your breath, I have zero follow through and I can't cook.

Oh hell. Buying a bitchin turn table from a guy and his vinyl collection puts mine to shame. This is a quarter of it. He has that many. He has four turn tables that he uses in this one room. Drool…

Effing Record Store Day.
I stupidly couldn’t sleep at all last night. It is worse than black friday. The stress of not getting everything I want on the list is seriously painful.
Three record stores down, $500 spent with no end in sight. I now know how a drug addict feels.
I love this day and can’t wait for it to be over all at once. Argh.

12% through the i-pod listening project.
I now have to go back and listen to The Strokes- Angles, Muse- Absolution, U2- Achtung Baby (skipped because I hate the shit out of U2 but am currently feeling guilty for skipping it. The lack of stars on my i-tunes page scream at me every time I update my i-pod. Unrated! Unrated! Unrated!!!), Meatloaf- Bat Out of Hell (…same…so…didn’t…want…to…listen…), Jeremy Messersmith- Alcatraz Kid. I also found an old vinyl (Buck Owens…who is actually such sick alt country for his time…so good surprisingly!) I have to go back and listen to. If I don’t stop adding shit to my collection, I will NEVER finish.
I should be having something from Happy Little Robots here soon…ahem.

It is retarded how much I love my Nook. It seriously goes everywhere with me. Like my glasses, phone, i-pod and an assortment of (legal) drugs, I never leave home without it.
I need to get a bigger bag man. I am running out of room for my addictions.
